Traveling the world and living out of a suitcase can get pretty tough at times but with a few creature comforts you can make life a hell of a lot easier. Here world number 3 Taj Burrow (AUS) talks us through some of his most important travel goods.
1. Wax
Kinda pointless rocking up to an event with out the stuff, need the stuff to your feet stuck to your stick.
2. MacBookPro
I use this thing all the time! Smashing emails, cutting up clips from free surfs, surfing the web, watching DVD´s, calling home through Skype, booking accommodation and flights, basically couldn't live with out the thing.
3. Threads
Only the best here, Billabong hooks me up with the sickest threads which is so good, love the shit, especially some of these retro tees...EPIC!
4. Wetsuit
These cold atlantic ocean waters require a good suit. I wear a Billabong Solution CT to keep me nice and toasty.
5. iPOD
Perfect for a presurf amp up. I don´t really listen to one set band, I hear songs around the place and if I like one I have to have it, I then throw it into my playlist.
6. Mobile
Gotta stay connected, global roaming all the way baby to stay in touch with the lads back home and the folks.
7. DVD´s
I love a good movie, take heaps with me on every trip just to break up a trip and relax.
8. Boards
Kinda important these things!! These firewires go so sick, love them. At Mundaka & Bakio i usually ride a 5´11" boards in anything up to 4ft waves, if Mundaka is above 4ft I will ride a 6´0" to give me that extra length. I think i brought 11 boards to Europe.
